With this project, I intend to explore the profound impact of dementia on family dynamics, focusing on my grandmother's experience. These images aim to capture the essence of my grandmother's belongings, each holding a unique story and a fragment of the past. Through this project I seek to articulate the transformative effects of dementia on identity, relationships, and the perception of life. I aim to raise awareness and foster understanding of the profound changes experienced by individuals and their families dealing with this challenging condition.
Trying to approach this condition in a different way and transform it into something more meaningful than simply witnessing the disappearance of identity.
